About the Job

Urban Services YMCA is the social services branch of the YMCA of San Francisco. Our mission is to provide holistic and comprehensive programs that support health, wellness and self-efficacy in youth, families and communities by providing an Anti-Poverty approach. Urban Services YMCA's programs recognize and re-affirm individual’s strengths and encourage meaningful and collaborative participation in program creation and delivery.

The Client Services Manager (CSM)is responsible for supporting the ongoing development and implementation of the Family Resource Center services.  The CSM works as a team member with the other Family Resource Center staff to ensure a holistic approach to the family needs.

Salary range: $64,480 to $66,560 per year

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience    
  • 2+ years of experience to include supervision, contract and budget management responsibilities and being part of a cross disciplinary team.
  • Familiarity and experience working in or with DHS, DCYF, First 5, and community-based agencies
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to publicize and conduct outreach for programs
  • Experience with client case management through a variety of human service systems.
  • Proven ability to work with people from a variety of different ethnic, socioeconomic, educational, religious, sexual, and generational backgrounds.
  • Must be available Monday – Friday.  Some weekends and evenings may also be required.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required with the ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse individuals during a time of crisis and distress.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and to comply with (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) HIPAA rules and guidelines.
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with MS Office applications.
  • Be comfortable working on multiple online platforms
  • Ability to multi-task and to adapt/respond quickly to changes in priorities
  • Critical thinking skills with proven ability to exercise discretion and sound independent judgement
  • Reflect a professional demeanor, pleasant personality, and a sense of humor
  • YMCA approved CPR and First Aid Certification
