About the Job
Under the supervision of the Tennis Coordinator, and the Director of Healthy Living, the Tennis instructor is responsible for providing instruction and motivation toward a healthy lifestyle in either one-on-one, semi-private, or group settings. The Tennis Instructor meets each members’ level of fitness, and develops an effective and safe tennis program according to the members’ goals and level of experience. Delivers a high level of customer service and ensures a positive experience.
Salary range: $29.00 to $40.00 per hour
Minimum Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent (related experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tennis instructor for youths and adults
- Current YMCA-approved CPR and First Aid certification*
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual skills in Cantonese, Mandarin, and/or Spanish
- USPTA or USPTR Instructor Certification
