About the Job
Under direction and supervision of the Senior Youth Programs Director, the Culinary Instructor responsible for cooking instruction for participants in the Buchanan YMCA Teen Culinary Program. Candidate is responsible for mentoring program participants, as well as planning and implementing program activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- AA Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent work experience
- 1-2 years experience working with high school youth in an organized setting
- Available weekday afternoons, 10-15 hours/week
- CPR and First Aid certified (may certify upon hire)
- Fingerprint background check clearance
- Proof of COVID Vaccination is required
