Attention AOA Members and Participants,

In order to help control the spread of the COVID-19 virus to our most vulnerable populations, the Richmond District YMCA will cancel ALL of its senior classes and activities, for at least the next two weeks and resume on Tuesday, March 24th unless otherwise notified. The facility will continue to be open during normal hours. For questions or concerns please email Anthony Ortiz aortiz@ymcasf.org or call 415-666-9614.

Follow these health practices now to protect against seasonal cold and flu including novel coronavirus.

Please be aware that this is a pre-cautionary measure, and that no case of the COVID-19 virus has been reported at our facilities.

St Patty's Luncheon

MARCH 27TH 2020       •      FRIDAY      •       11:30 AM  – 1:00 PM

Let’s gather together in our AOA community room and celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a Luncheon. It’s a way for us to celebrate together culturally and share stories with one another in building community.

AOA Sit & Be Fit

MONDAY & FRIDAY     •       10:00AM - 11:00AM

A workout for seniors members who would benefit from a seated workout routine or recovering from an injury. This class can improve circulation and range of motion, as well as increased flexibility and muscular strength.

Knitting Circle

MONDAYS     •       11:00AM - 12:30PM

Members gather to knit or crochet various projects. We have members of all levels that work together to learn patterns and develop new skills! Come meet others that enjoy the art of knitting!

Bridge Club

FRIDAYS     •       1:00PM - 4:00PM

Join our community members for a social game of bridge. Studies show that this can significantly lower the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.
