At the Y, older adults have a chance to stay active and grow in spirit, mind, and body. The Buchanan YMCA will begin offering fitness classes and social engagement activities for seniors to emphasize the importance of community and strengthen social ties. We will begin activities this Fall and encourage older adults to take action and get involved. This will be a free program for District 5 older adults ages 60+ and anyone ages 18+ with a disability. It’s never too late to make new friends, learn new things and get active.

For more information, please contact our Community Engagement Specialist Claudia Rodas at crodas@ymcasf.org or our Building Manager Joshua Pisciotta at jpisciotta@ymcasf.org

These programs serving the community are funded by the City of San Francisco’s Department of Disability and Aging Services.
