About the Job

Under the supervision of the FRC Director, the Differential Response Liaison (DRL) is responsible for ensuring that Family Resource Center clients receive the highest quality services and are case managed throughout the FRC and in the community as needed.

This position is concerned with the delivery of services in the community.  To this end the DR Liaison must have the interpersonal skills to interact effectively with families identified as being at risk for abuse/neglect or out of home placement while imparting knowledge about community resources that may be of assistance to the families. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 21 years old
  • AA degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 2+ years of experience in case management
  • Available regular work week and some weekends
  • Familiarity and experience with target populations.
  • Familiarity and experience working in or with HSA, DCYF, and community-based agencies.
  • Familiarity and experience with client interviewing, assessment, and service plan development.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with demonstrated follow through on tasks; multi-project/multi-task orientation.
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work with people from a variety of different ethnic, socioeconomic, educational, religious, sexual and generational backgrounds
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to include public speaking 
  • Proficient with computers and Office 365
  • Ability to clearly document outcome and data per program protocols
  • Professional demeanor, pleasant personality, and a sense of humor.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish
  • Must have access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent
  • Trauma Informed, Conflict Resolution
  • Knowledge of the Western Addition community helpful
