About the Job
Reporting to the Sr. Executive Director of Urban Services Y – Community Action Agency, the Branch Budget Support Coordinator (BBSC) works together with the Sr. Executive Director to support branch Directors to strengthen foundational understanding of budgeting, agency financial systems and effectively utilizing agency tools to accurately build and monitor budgets. The BBSC will provide training and support to staff to strengthen skills in working with financial systems and will collaborate directly with YMCA of San Francisco Grant Support Team (GST). This team leader is dedicated to meeting deadlines, ensuring staff provide accurate financial reporting, strengthening relationships with funders, and collaborating with YSF’s larger administrative structure.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related area (e.g., business administration, accounting or finance) or equivalent experience
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience working with budget development and management systems from various revenue sources
- Must possess at least 1 year experience supervising or supporting budget development with teams
- Possess expertise in general budget management, business office procedures, database systems management, bookkeeping, and accounting principles and procedures
- Must be detail oriented, able to perform under pressure and well organized
- Ability to reason logically and accurately
- Individual must demonstrate excellent organizational, relationship building, and communication skills.
- YMCA approved CPR and First Aid Certification
