About the Job

The Richmond District YMCA is seeking After School Program Leaders for these program sites:

  • Argonne Elementary - 680 18th Ave, San Francisco, 94121
  • Jefferson Elementary - 1725 Irving St, San Francisco, 94122
  • Lafayette Elementary - 4545 Anza St, San Francisco, 94121
  • Sutro Elementary - 235 12th Ave, San Francisco, 94118
  • Claire Lilienthal School (Scott Campus, 3rd-8th) - 3630 Divisadero St, San Francisco, CA 94123

YMCA After School Program Leader provides meaningful and enriching opportunities for youth in YMCA programs that are offered at local elementary and middle schools. The Program Leader will help students develop and strengthen academic, physical, and social skills by providing assistance, tutoring, and mentorship in the After School Program. Program Leaders will provide academic enrichment and tutoring in classroom groups of up to 20 students, as well as organize and provide outdoor recreational activities in the school yards. Individuals hired for this position will work under the supervision of the Program Site Coordinators and Directors, and will need to be flexible, willing to take initiative, be punctual, and able to make a commitment to work throughout the entire school year. 

After School Program dates: 

  • San Francisco ASP sites: must be able to work August 16, 2023 – June 4, 2024
