FREE/REDUCED LUNCH QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY

How can I get my free or reduced lunch eligibility documentation?

Provide Notification of Eligibility Letter:
The fastest and easiest way to complete the SFUSD Multipurpose Family Income Form (MFIF) is to create an account online at SchoolCafé.com and complete the Multipurpose Family Income Form (MFIF).

  • The MFIF can be submitted anytime during the school year. A family’s free or reduced lunch eligibility will be determined within five-seven business days. You will be sent an email with your eligibility status for free or reduced lunch.
  • Once you have received an email notification, you can print your eligibility letter by logging into your account at SchoolCafé.com.

Do I qualify for a free or reduced lunch?

If your total household income from ALL sources is less than the amount in the table below for your household size, you may qualify for free or reduced lunch. However, you must complete the MFIF form at SchoolCafé.com to determine your eligibility.
