Counselor In Training (CITs)

Our Counselor-In-Training program is a great way for teens to gain job skills and experience! The CIT program consists of two parts: a two-week hands on training in which teens learn how to be Y camp leaders and fieldwork weeks in which CITs are applying their training while helping run camp. Future CITs must first complete one of the two-week training sessions, be evaluated, and meet certain criteria to be considered for fieldwork. Placement in fieldwork is not guaranteed.
