Diabetes Prevention Program

The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program is a one-year lifestyle intervention program that helps adults at risk for developing Type 2 Diabetes reduce their risk. Participants learn strategies for eating healthy, increasing physical activity and overcoming stress to reduce their risk for developing Type 2 Diabetes.   • 25 sessions over the course of one year
  • Small-group, supportive environment (8-15 people)
  • Led by a trained Lifestyle Coach
  • YMCA Membership not required to participate

Take Action Accountability Group

The Take Action Accountability Group is a 12-week support group for members who want to accelerate their progress on their life goals.  This small group will provide you with encouragement, motivation and education to help you take action. Each week, we will share goals, report back on progress and hold each other accountable.  You will get the benefit of the experience, resources and wisdom of others in the group as you are on your journey to accomplishing your goals. The registration fee is $20 and includes an accountability journal.

90 Days to Wellness

Wellness is more than just diet and exercise. Enter this 12-week program and work with the support of a group to identify your path to healthy behavior change. Explore tools to set goals, identify barriers, and navigate a path to a more well-rounded healthy lifestyle. Each week features one day of physical activity, where we will learn the basics of individual and group exercise programs, and one day of facilitated learning where we will explore the key contributing factors to leading a healthier life. Meetings are facilitated by trained YMCA lifestyle coaches, personal trainers, and group exercise instructors.

Whether you are training for your first race or your personal best, our 12-week run club will help you achieve your goals. Reap the benefits of group support, guided progression, and technical support. Choose a package based on the support you want. All race goals, experience and ability levels are welcome.

Living Strong Living Well

Living Strong Living Well is a program that is open to adult cancer survivors in the community at no cost. Our certified, caring staff will give participants personalized attention and a supportive environment while working with those who have recently become deconditioned or chronically fatigued from treatment or disease. Participants meet twice a week for 12 weeks in a small group setting.
