The Stonestown Family YMCA provides activities for Y-Adults ages 60+ years. At the Y, older adults have a chance to keep active and grow in spirit, mind, and body. Most of our Y-Adult programs are free of charge. We don’t turn anyone away because of inability to pay for our fee-based programs. From exercise classes to trips and lifelong learning programs, there is something for everyone!

Lunch Program

Every weekday at the Annex, On Lok 30th Street Senior Center provides group lunch for those 60 years and up. Menus are planned by a Registered Dietitian to meet the nutritional needs of older adults. Each meal consists of protein, starch/grain, vegetable entree, soup or salad, and fruit for dessert. Menus are available at the front desk and near the registration table in the Social Hall. New to the lunch program? Please meet with Miguel Cabezas, On Lok 30th Street Senior Center Nutrition Site Coordinator, to complete registration and receive gold card before your first lunch!

This congregate meal program is supported with funds from federal, state and local government, fundraising by On Lok 30th Street Senior Center, and voluntary contributions from participants. Any contribution to the meal program will be much appreciated.  However regardless of contribution, services will not be denied. Thank you for your support!

Group Exercise

Because we know that healthy lifestyles are achieved through nurturing mind, body and spirit, well-being and fitness at the Y includes more than just working out. Our Y-Adult Group Exercise classes promote healthy lifestyles for older adults while also providing them with a space to find camaraderie and community.

Mahjong

A tile-based game which originated in China during the Qing dynasty. Similar to the Western card game rummy, Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, and calculation and involves a degree of chance.

Annual Picnic At Paradise Beach County Park

Join us for a picnic at Paradise Beach County Park overlooking the beautiful San Francisco Bay from the shores of Tiburon. Enjoy freshly cooked hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, chili, potato/macaroni salad, chips and a variety of desserts will be served for lunch.

Cancellation for any field trip is assessed $15 and are non-refundable within 72 hours of date of departure.

Luther Burbank Home and Gardens

Join us in visiting this registered national, state, and city historic landmark and urban garden in Santa Rosa. The tour includes the home with its original furnishing, the greenhouse, the gardens, and a summary of Burbank’s life and achievements. Lunch will be at Franchettis after the tour.
