Something for everyone, all in one place! Being a part of the Y means convenient, all-inclusive access to all of the benefits and amenities you need.
Join us on Sunday, April 19th for the Presidio Community YMCA Trail Run, the only family-friendly and competitive trail run in the park! Your participation supports the YMCA’s community programs and supports our work in youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Your participation helps ensure access to programs and services that empower individuals and families.

For those of you who do not already have a waiver on file with the Presidio Y please download and complete the waiver.
T-shirts and bibs may be picked up on race morning at the Presidio YMCA from 7:00 a.m.-8:15 a.m. You will receive an email from the race timing company which includes your race number. Please have that race number ready to share at bib pick-up.
Identification must be presented at bib/short pick-up. Participants can pick up shirts and bibs for another participant provided they can present a signed waiver and photo id.
You may opt to have your shirt shipped to you for a fee.
In light of this event being a race benefiting the Y of San Francisco’s essential services: OST (Out of School Time) programs to support academic success and promote healthy development, targeted workforce development strategies to address unemployment and underemployment, food pantries for those struggling with food insecurity, and healthy indoor and outdoor programs for all members of our community, refunds will not be given.
For questions about how to participate or support these programs, please email Sean Dries at [email protected].
The Presidio offers several parking lots to serve Presidio visitors around the YMCA and the Main Post. We encourage attendees to carpool, walk, or bike to the park as well. Visit SF Muni’s website to plan your trip or check out the Presidio Trust’s PresidiGo shuttle schedule.
Parking is regulated in the Presidio seven days a week. The cost ranges between $2.50 to $3 per hour and between $12.50 to $15/day. ACE Parking issues parking violations to vehicles that have not purchased parking or have exceeded time limits. This map shows the prices of parking by area.

At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Now, more than ever, our community needs your support. Since March 17, 2020, the Y of San Francisco has been on the ground offering critical resources to our community.
The Y serves those who struggle with food insecurity by providing more than 7,000 individuals and families each month with food pantries throughout San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin counties through our partnership with the SF-Marin Food Bank.
The Y is embedded in the communities that have been among the hardest hit by unemployment and inequality. We address unemployment and underemployment through targeted workforce development strategies including skills building, job readiness training, and job placements.
The Y’s before and after school programs support a child’s academic success and promote healthy physical, emotional, and social development.
The Y of San Francisco believes that time spent outdoors helps us to be our healthiest, best selves. We continue to provide healthy outdoor opportunities for all members of our communities through: tennis, outdoor wellness windows, outdoor personal training, YRangers camp, outdoor wellness hikes, bike rides, runs, and group exercise programs.
We’re looking for over 100 enthusiastic volunteers to join us for a day full of fun and community spirit at the Presidio Trail Run in San Francisco, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals, groups, and communities to come together and make a difference. Spread the word to your friends and family – let’s create a memorable experience for everyone involved!
