Flexibility & Foam Rolling

Foam rolling is a technique used to target “trigger points” or knots that form between our muscles and connective tissue. In this workshop, we will learn how to properly foam roll while also discussing how it can help increase mobility and reduce our risk of injury.

Goal Setting Workshop

Properly set goals can help to keep us motivated and stay on track throughout the year. In this interactive workshop, we’ll work together to clarify our goals, focus our efforts and create a plan of action for the weeks and months ahead!

Meal Planning & Grocery Shopping Workshop

Eating the right foods can help you live a longer, healthier life. With the Registered Dietitians from Marin General Hospital Braden Diabetes Center you will learn how to make healthy simple meals that are balanced and have disease fighting nutrients. You will also learn how to shop for the best foods at your local grocery store.

Healthy Living for the Brain and Body: Tips from the Latest Research

For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to make lifestyle choices that may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. Join us to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.

Sleep Health Workshop

Sleep—as important as diet and exercise—is often the forgotten component of health. Sleep can affect tissue regeneration and muscle development, cognitive function, performance and so much more. Yet a third of US adults do not meet their sleep recommendations. Join us to learn about what healthy sleep looks like and how to build habits to get the sleep we all need!
