Awaken Summer Imagination

Healthy Kids Day

On April 27, 2019, kids and families across the nation will celebrate a national youth initiative to get kids moving and creating healthy habits they can continue all summer long. Research shows that without access to out-of-school learning activities, kids fall behind academically during summer break and gain weight twice as fast during summer than the school year. At the YMCA of San Francisco, we're celebrating summer with a kick-off of free community events across San Rafael, San Francisco, and San Mateo on Saturday, April 27.
