Join us June 13-14, 2020 for a Great American Backyard Campout.
Each year we host this event to explore and celebrate our National Park through games, hikes, a Golden Gate National Recreation Area park ranger-led campfire and good food!
No camping gear of your own? No problem! All camping gear, including tents, sleeping bags, and pads will be available courtesy of Bay Area Wilderness Training's gear library. If borrowing camping gear, please indicate which items you would like to reserve when you purchase the tickets.
*Rates & registration are per person. Please complete registration for each participant individually (children under 5 are free).
SATURDAY June 13, 2020
12:30-1:30pm: Guests arrive, register and set up tents
1:30pm: Welcome and Orientation at the fire circle
1:30-3:00pm: Family recreation time
3:00-5:30pm: Naturalist-led activity
6:00-7:00pm: Dinner in the dining hall
7:15 -8:30pm: Option 1- Sunset hike with Naturalist
Option 2- Arts and crafts
Option 3- Relax/Family Time
8:30-9:30pm: S’mores & Stories around the Campfire
SUNDAY June 14, 2020
7:00-8:00am: Good Morning! - Campers take down tents and start to pack up
8:00-9:00am: Breakfast served in the dining hall
9:30-10:30am: Yoga on the basketball court
10:30am: Event check out
