YMCA Camp Jones Gulch

Our facility offers rustic but comfortable, heated cabins for groups of up to 400. Individual cabins sleep between 8 and 18 people. Meeting spaces all feature a fireplace and can accommodate 40 to 200 people. Delicious and well-balanced meals are served buffet style in our full service dining halls. If your group has special dietary needs, our Food Services Director will be happy to discuss them with you.

With 927 acres to explore, your group will have an abundance of hiking trails and opportunities to enjoy nature up close. Our facility offers basketball and volleyball courts and two sports fields. We are happy to assist you in designing a program tailored to suit the needs of your group. Program highlights include a 42' climbing tower, zip line, archery and full ropes course. Swimming, canoeing and horseback riding are all offered from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

With an amphitheater style campfire for 400, a multiple-purpose music shell and numerous campfire circles. Camp Jones Gulch is the perfect venue for your group retreat, conference or reunion. Our courteous and friendly staff will help make your stay unique and memorable. 

 

Wasiata Village

Capacity: 142 people

Meeting Space: Perkins Lodge

Wasiata Village is one of our largest villages and has the largest meeting space. Perkins Lodge can accommodate up to 200 people inside. All cabins are heated and can be booked year-round. In addition to Perkins Lodge, Wasiata Village has a Program Yurt (meeting space for up to 35) and a ballfield (Ga-ga pit, and volleyball net). Village includes exclusive access to the Wasiata Campfire and Stage that can fit all of your participants.

 

Ohlone Village

Capacity: 50 people

Meeting Space: Triangle Lodge

Ohlone Village is located centrally at Camp Jones Gulch and provides a space for small groups. Triangle Lodge is an indoor meeting space for up to 35 and has a full kitchen and a beautiful deck overlooking the redwoods. All cabins are heated and can be booked year-round. This village has a campfire circle that is available for exclusive use of the guests in Ohlone Village.

 

South Tolowa Village

Capacity: 102 people

Meeting Space: None/Dining Hall

South Tolowa Village is the village closest to the dining hall. The Drake Campfire is one of our largest campfire spots on camp with a stage for skits and other activities. All cabins are heated and can be booked year-round. This village does not have a dedicated indoor meeting space, but the dining hall can be used as needed between mealtimes. 

 

North Tolowa Village 

Capacity: 142 people
No. of Cabins: 10
Meeting Space: Simcock Lodge

Our second largest village, North Tolowa can accommodate larger groups and has Simcock Lodge as a dedicated meeting space. Simcock Lodge has 3 bedrooms for group leaders and a meeting space for up to 100. All cabins are heated and can be booked year-round. In addition to Simcock Lodge, North Tolowa Village has a ballfield (Ga-ga pit, and volleyball net), picnic area, and campfire that the participants can use. This village has the closest access to the Music Shell which can be booked as a meeting/performance space for your group.
