Try our new Keiser M3 bikes in our beautiful first-floor Cycle Studio that boasts floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to Steuart Street. With three to five studio cycle classes per day, we offer a time, a trained instructor, and the music tracks to get your workout rolling to the next level. Our volunteer instructors will inspire you to explore new fitness zones. Sign up for your preferred bike on the clipboard near the door before class.
Your cardio workout on a treadmill, elliptical, or arc trainer will zip by as you watch ferries cross, pelicans dive, and harbor seals surface. Feel the fresh bay breezes on your face and cool fans on your back as you build your strength and endurance.
TRX / Pilates Reformer Studio
Take your strength-training to the next level with our brand new TRX studio. TRX suspension training allows users to work against their own body weight, building muscle, strengthening their core, and improving balance.
Come swim in our 25-meter lap pool, take a class in our activity pool, or take lessons with one of our great coaches. After your workout you can relax in our Jacuzzi that stays around 100 degrees.
Group Exercise Studios
Our two Group Exercise studios give our members ample space for exercise in small and large groups. We offer a variety of classes in each room throughout the week for you to pump it up and burn those calories.
Located on the third floor between the gymnasium and the elevator, the Kinesis wall is constructed of four panels with smooth-action cables, easy-grip handles, and 360-degree pivoting pulleys that allow movements to be easy, natural, and unrestricted.
During your next lunch break, check out our rooftop garden. Complete with picnic benches, lounge chairs, and beautiful plants.
Built in 1926 as an Army/Navy YMCA for soldiers returning from war, the Embarcadero YMCA has hosted historic waterfront events for decades. From formal dances to job training seminars, literacy programs to poetry readings, board meetings to birthday parties, if these walls could talk...we would listen. Non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations can rent our stunning board room for a one-time meeting or ongoing meetings.
Located on the third floor, we provide equipment-based Pilates training in one-on-one, duet, or small-group sessions. The sessions are fee-based and include a Pilates trainer to guide you through the exercises.
