Something for everyone, all in one place! Being a part of the Y means convenient, all-inclusive access to all of the benefits and amenities you need.
The Bayview Hunters Point YMCA sports program provides a safe and fun environment for boys in the 3rd through 8th grades to learn the basic skills of basketball, and most importantly, learning what it takes to be on a team. Participants will receive 2 practices a week, along with an 8-game competitive season.
Practice: Monday-Thursday
Games: Friday-Saturday
Tailored for families who are either active military, veteran or GOLD Star status. These families will experience Yosemite National Park in an overnight camp setting.
Learn the basics of water polo in our co-ed water polo club. Practices will consist of both skills and drills for passing and shooting the ball and improving endurance while treading water, as well as team scrimmages for fun!

In stage 3, students learn how to swim to safety from a longer distance than in previous stages in the event of falling into a body of water. This stage also introduces rhythmic breathing and integrated arm and leg action.
