Located at John Muir Elementary School, the Western Addition Beacon Center provides quality programming for youth and adults.
We are one of eight Beacon Centers in San Francisco public schools. Our mission is to enrich the lives of community members and ensure the healthy development of young people. To achieve this goal, we operate daily after-school programs, as well as summer programs that provide skill-building enrichment classes, academic support, and physical recreation.
Program Information
A $50 nonrefundable deposit is due at registration. ELOP and Free/Reduced lunch families must contact the site coordinator for program enrollment details and qualifications.
Grades
Entering TK-5th grades.
Program Dates
School year: 08/19/2024 through 06/04/2025.
Before School Care Dates
Monday through Friday, 5 days a week. Hours are from 7:00 am until school day begins. Please contact the site coordinator prior to registration for approval.
After School Care Dates
Monday through Friday, 5 days a week. Hours are from end of school day until 6:00 pm.
