ARC Lifeguard Recertification - Deep Water
Those currently certified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding or externally approved ARC can take this course. The 2-day course will review the skills and communicate any updates from the American Red Cross. Certification includes the American Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, & CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Prerequisites: 15 years old (by the last day of class), ability to swim 200 yards continuously using the front crawl and breaststroke, ability to surface dive to a depth of 7-10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object within one minute and 40 seconds, and tread water for two minutes without the use of hands. This course is a blended learning course (6 hours online) and a 2-day course that must be attended and pass all required skills to receive the certification.
