The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department and YMCA of San Francisco are partnering to provide FREE learn-to-swim programs for youth in the Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood. Participants must live or attend school in the 94124 ZIP code area.

LOCATION: SF Recreation & Park Department’s MLK Jr. Pool

ADDRESS: 5701 3rd St, San Francisco, CA 94124

AGE: Youth (Grades K to 5) who live or go to school in the Bayview (94124)

DATE: Beginning week of April 4th – 6 week sessions

  • Option 1: Tuesday and Thursday - 4:00pm - 4:30pm, 4:45pm - 5:15pm & 5:30pm - 6:00pm

  • Option 2: Wednesday and Friday - 4:00pm - 4:30pm, 4:45pm - 5:15pm & 5:30pm - 6:00pm

**We are not currently accepting new registrations for the pilot, but youth are welcome to register via the RPD site for future program opportunities.**

Learn to Swim at the Y!

At the Y, we want your child to build confidence in their swimming abilities. The Y offers swim lessons for all ages, group swim lessons, private and semi-private swim lessons.
