Position Summary
Following the completion of 24 hours of professional development training, E2E program staff are placed at either a YMCA or non-YMCA work site for 300 hours.
Participants typically perform administrative, light construction, or childcare duties. The schedule and duties will be determined by E2E staff and employment partner. Urban Services YMCA will remain the employer of record for the duration of the 300-hour placement.
Job Responsibilities
- Professionalism & Conduct
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude that supports personal growth, teamwork, and the success of the E2E program.
- Always follow the YMCA’s and employment sponsor’s code of conduct.
- Adhere to group agreements established during the initial training session.
- Job Performance & Compliance
- Fulfill all job duties outlined in your placement job description and comply with the rules, regulations, and expectations set by your employment sponsor.
- Training & Development
- Attend weekly professional development meetings during your placement (approximately 1 hour per meeting; schedule to be determined).
- Administrative Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain and submit timesheets on a weekly basis, including obtaining comments and signatures from your supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be between 18 and 24 years old
- Good communication skills
- YMCA approved First Aid and CPR (can complete upon hire)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin or other languages
Work Environment & Physical Demands
E2E Program Staff will work in a variety of settings, including office environments, childcare centers, or light construction sites, depending on their placement. Tasks may involve sitting, standing, walking, and occasional light lifting.
The role may require prolonged periods of concentration in administrative work or physical activity depending on duties assigned. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as work environments and schedules will vary based on placement and employment partner needs.

Salary Description
This position pays $20.25 per hour, determined by salary and hourly benchmarking standards and aligned with grant fund approval. Compensation follows the requirements and funding guidelines specific to this program. This position is Part-time and Temporary.
