Position Summary

Following the completion of 24 hours of professional development training, E2E program staff are placed at either a YMCA or non-YMCA work site for 300 hours.  

Participants typically perform administrative, light construction, or childcare duties. The schedule and duties will be determined by E2E staff and employment partner. Urban Services YMCA will remain the employer of record for the duration of the 300-hour placement.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

E2E Program Staff will work in a variety of settings, including office environments, childcare centers, or light construction sites, depending on their placement. Tasks may involve sitting, standing, walking, and occasional light lifting.  

The role may require prolonged periods of concentration in administrative work or physical activity depending on duties assigned. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as work environments and schedules will vary based on placement and employment partner needs.

This position pays $21.65 – $23.00 per hour, determined by salary and hourly benchmarking standards and aligned with grant fund approval. Compensation follows the requirements and funding guidelines specific to this program. This position is Part-time and Temporary.
