Buchanan YMCA, serving the Fillmore, Japantown, Western Addition, Lower Haight and Pacific Heights communities since 1886.

Featuring a complete set of free weights, Life fitness tension band machines and Strive fitness machines we have the equipment you need to build a stronger, healthier body. The Buchanan YMCA fitness facility also features a complete cardiovascular equipment room, a beautiful dance studio for group exercise classes, a Yoga and Pilates studio, and an indoor gymnasium for Volleyball and Basketball.

Summer Day Camp 2009 Registration is Open!

We are pleased to announce that thanks to our generous donors and sponsors we have attained our Campaign fundraising goal of just over $45,000 for the 2008/2009 year. Thanks to your contributions Buchanan YMCA is once again able to offer expanded programs for after school care, healthy snacks for our Y-kids, additional programs staffing and financial assistance for our Health and Fitness memberships.
