Our Summer Virtual Enrichment program provides engaging activities and social interaction that are vital to our children’s development, and most importantly, an opportunity to have fun!

Our engaging Y staff will keep your child(ren) entertained and focused on enriching activities through live Zoom sessions every day.

What is a typical day at Virtual Camp?

  • Introduction with a camp song

How many campers will be in a virtual room?

  • 8-12 campers are in a room together at one time.

How is this different from a YouTube video?

  • Campers will have daily interactions with camp staff.
  • All the songs, games, activities are in one place.

How much help will campers need from their parent/guardian?

  • Our activities are age appropriate but, some of our younger campers need assistance from parents.

If I have two children in two different age groups, do I need two different devices? 

  • Yes – your children will be in two different rooms so will need to each have their own device to participate.

What devices can be used to access Virtual Summer Camp

  • Laptop
  • Tablets
  • Chromebooks will work but have limited functionality

When will I get the list of supplies?

  • A Welcome Letter will be sent out every Wednesday with links to supplies and the Zoom links.

Are supplies provided?

  • We are able to provide some supplies. Registration must be made two weeks prior.

Where do we pick up supplies?

  • Richmond District YMCA
  • Stonestown Family YMCA (through July 2)
  • Commodore Sloat Elementary School (July 9–August 7)
