The YMCA of San Francisco, in partnership with the National Park Service at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, VITAL architecture, and Off the Grid, is proud to announce the opening of The Canteen in the Marin Headlands at the Point Bonita YMCA.
Join us in Celebration
We will have a Grand Opening Celebration at The Canteen in late August/early September, 2019. With the beautiful Marin Headlands as our backdrop, we'll make merry with refreshments, music and remarks from Y leadership and our partners.

The Point Bonita Lighthouse, built in 1855, was the third lighthouse built on the West Coast and helped shepherd ships through the treacherous Golden Gate straits. Today, the lighthouse is still active and is maintained by the U.S. Coast Guard. Discover Point Bonita's wild landscape, geology and fascinating history by hiking the partially steep half mile trail to the Point Bonita Lighthouse.
