Giving Back to the Marin Community
The Y is a cause-driven organization that is for Youth Development, Healthy Living & Social Responsibility. We are proud to say that we were able to put all 3 into practice!
Not only do we changes lives within our YMCA, but we also strive to help our community outside our four walls. Since June of this year, we have partnered with Marin Community Clinics (MCC) to help parents and their children live a more active, healthy and positive life – together. Through our swim lessons program, we are continuously teaching the entire family techniques to stay active and healthy. Not only that, they get to do it in a positive, inclusive environment where learning is so fun, they keep coming back!
Fast forward to this week, the Marin Y team had the absolute pleasure to witness our kids from MCC receive their very own bicycles and helmets at no cost to the families!! We wish you could have seen their smiles 
And a HUGE Thank You to the organization that made it happen – Toys for Bob. We can’t begin to emphasize enough on how much of a massive impact Toys for Bob has made on these kids’ lives! Giving has never felt sooooooooo good.
