John Baker is a Strategic Advisor to Private Equity investors, Boards and companies in a variety of industries including Consumer Credit, Debt Settlement, Payment Processing, Hospitality, and Theme Parks. John’s earlier career spanned decades as the chief operating executive in a variety of consumer service industries.
The YMCA has been central to John’s life since the age of seven at his hometown Canton, Ohio YMCA where he learned to swim, joined the Y swim team, and remained a competitor as a master’s adult. He attended Y summer camps, participated with his father in Y Indian Guides, and as an adult has given back through Board service for the YMCAs in both Nevada and Greater San Francisco.
John’s happy place is on ski slopes and hiking trails in Park City, Utah.
