About the Job
YMCA Personal Trainers will program and deliver safe and effective workouts for a wide variety of individual, buddy-training or small group training clients. They will present a positive, enthusiastic and caring attitude to a diverse population of members and staff. Personal Trainers should work a minimum of two wellness coaching shifts for at least six months, or until garnering minimum number of clients, before transitioning to personal training only.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Flexible schedule with the availability to train clients during YMCA operating hours.
- Bilingual applicants (Chinese) preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Nationally accredited Personal Training certification and First Aid/CPR* certification.
