About the Job
The Preschool Teacher is part of a team which provides a safe, nurturing and educational environment for all children enrolled in our program at the Marin YMCA. The Preschool Teacher will actively participate and help plan all curriculum scheduled. The Preschool Teacher is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with the children and families we serve at the Marin YMCA. The Preschool Teacher must have a positive attitude and model appropriate behavior when interacting with children. The Preschool Teacher must obey and follow all regulations set forth by Community Care Licensing as well as instructions given by the Preschool Head Teacher and Site Director.
- Minimum 18 years old
- 12 units ECE/CD
- Associate or Teacher Permit
- 350+ days of 3+ hours per day within 4 years.
- M-F 40 hours/week;
- CPR/First Aid Certified.*
- TB Test, Fingerprint Clearance,
- Fingerprint clearance, CPR/First Aid, TB Test, whooping Cough Vaccine, Measles and Mumps vaccine, Influenza Vaccine required.
*We will provide training for certification!
