About the Job
Under the primary supervision of the Administrative Services Director, the Grants/ Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for supporting multiple branches (Mission, Chinatown, Presidio) in grant administration for multiple grant funding streams and varied branch human resources duties such as on-boarding of staff and volunteers, file creation and maintenance, and varied payroll duties. This includes but is not limited to administering grant reporting and financial accruals (DCYF, ASES, 21st Century, Wages+, Preschool for All, Human Services Agency, SFUSD, MOHCD); maintaining participant enrollment and attendance; maintaining financial record keeping; managing the DCYF (Department of Children, Youth, & Families) database; entering evaluation and assessment data; communicating and working closely with Site Coordinators and/or Directors; facilitating and preparing for meetings, trainings and presentations, taking minutes, following up; preparing for and assisting with special events; Branch Audits; and supporting various administrative tasks for the branch including systems data entry.
This position requires: meticulous attention to details, excellent computer skills, creative problem-solving skills, effective and thorough communication, the ability to maintain confidentiality, the ability to prioritize task and timelines, resourcefulness, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work on tasks independently, quickly and efficiently, and the ability to identify new opportunities and to respond to them.
- Minimum of 18 years old
- High diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree and two years experience in business administration, bookkeeping / accounting preferred.
- Available Mondays-Fridays during branch business hours.
- Three years of administrative support experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Cantonese Bilingual preferred.
