About the Job
Under the supervision of the Summer Program Director, the Unit Director is responsible for all aspects of the supervision and operation of a day camp unit. Applicant must have the physical, visual, and auditory ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Extended Care Unit Director (10 weeks)
- Age: 21 years old
- Education: Possess college quarter/semester credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or the equivalent background in courses in arts, recreation, social work, or psychology
- Availability: Bi-weekly day/evening meetings leading up to the beginning of summer program, some weekend trainings, and all weeks between June to August 2020
- Related Experience: At least two years' experience working with children in an organized setting. Must demonstrate good judgment and the understanding of children's needs. Must have the ability to maintain a positive
- Licenses & Certifications: Current CPR and 1st Aid Certification, Current TB test by Manitou method
- Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese
