About the Job

Under the direction and supervision of the SVP/Chief Financial Officer (or designee) the Director of IT Infrastructure & Workforce Services will manage multiple technology platforms, team members and 3rd party vendors to provide YMCA staff the infrastructure and productivity tools they require to meet the Y’s mission. This position is mostly in person and in the office but there is some flexibility to work from home occasionally with supervisor’s permission and in alignment with goals and objectives of the position.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or related required
  • Ten plus years of relevant experience with tech stack described required
  • Microsoft Azure Certification required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer Centric attitude and approach to service delivery
  • Available in person as needed Monday – Friday during business hours and occasional evening or weekend for service impacting activities
  • Additional certifications in tech stack described is desirable 

Essential Functions

  • Manage, administrate and maintain existing Microsoft Azure tenant, Azure AD and distributed domain controllers across the Y’s branches including backups and performance monitoring
  • Manage Office365 platform and integration with Azure Active Directory
  • Maintain and extend use of ManagedEngine OpManager and related products used for operations oversight and automation
  • Manage and maintain VMware ESX, VMCenter and distributed branch VMs including applying updates to maintain supportability and security
  • Manage and maintain EMC storage with updates to maintain supportability and security
  • Maintain and extend wired and wireless network services at YMCA locations
  • Manage and maintain HP Servers including OS and firmware updates applying updates to maintain supportability and security
  • Manage and maintain Checkpoint firewalls for network security at satellite locations and integration to 3rd party managed SD-WAN.
  • Work with security partner to proactively monitor server & network infrastructure to meet annual PCI DSS audit and actively engage in information security activities
  • Oversee budget and vendor management activities for 3rd party service / technology partners
  • Ensure compliance with YMCA policies and standards while guiding architecture & best practices
  • Develop project proposals to deliver value added services that improve the digital employee experience and scalability of IT at the YMCASF
  • Lead development of YMCA IT skill sets by supporting individual training plans and certifications that demonstrate growth in team member skills while coaching employees and communicating job expectations
  • Collaborate with other administrative team members to ensure high-quality support of staff, members, and participants.
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
  • Uphold YMCA policies for safety, supervision, mandated reporting and risk management.
