Youth Development Positions

The Y of SF is a leading provider of youth development programs in the Bay Area, from preschool to summer camp and after school programs. We’re looking for early childhood educators and after school program leaders to join our team of exceptional leaders making a difference through the Y!

BROWSE JOBS

The YMCA of San Francisco has been voted one of the Best Places to work in the SF Bay Area for two years in a row by our staff! We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits including paid medical and dental plans for full time employees, as well as a competitive retirement plan with employer contribution when eligible.

Our mission is about the development and wellness of people and communities- and that shows in our staff culture. The Y of SF provides paid time off benefits, Medical and Dependent Care FSA options, and commuter benefits on a pre-tax basis.  All Y of SF employees have use of YMCA fitness facilities as part of their employment package.

Our core values are caring, honesty, respect and responsibility; we believe that working at the Y is much more than a paycheck, it's a way to be a part of something bigger.

EMPLOYEE WELLNESS RESOURCES

A Cause Driven Culture

As a 501(c)3 charitable community organization, each of our staff and volunteers makes a difference in the lives of those we serve, every day. At the Y, we call this a cause-driven culture: the way we think, act and communicate directly builds our cause, to strengthen community. This starts with passionate, committed leaders at all levels of the organization, and leads to strong supportive teams, and significant opportunities for professional development and growth from within.

Professional Development

The YMCA of San Francisco is committed to learning and growth in Y leaders. We provide access to local and national training programs and certifications, through Y-USA and our own region-specific trainings and workshops. In addition, all Y staff have access to join the YMCA Professional Network.
