OMIE Beacon Center Programs

The OMIE Beacon Center is a community center housed within James Denman Middle School dedicated to improving the lives of youth and families living, working, or attending schools in Oceanview, Merced, Ingleside, and Excelsior neighborhoods.

Our programs and services include: after school enrichment, academic support, arts and recreation, technology training, leadership development, literacy support, career development, wellness counseling, case management services, and community family programming.

The OMIE Beacon Center is a community center housed within James Denman Middle School dedicated to improving the lives of youth and families living, working, or attending schools in Oceanview, Merced, Ingleside, and Excelsior neighborhoods.

Our Wellness Services Program supports the physical and behavioral health needs of youth. We offer Substance Abuse Prevention & Treatment, Mental Health and Trauma Counseling, Case Management, Gang Prevention & Intervention, Life Skills / Empowerment Groups, Information and Referral Services, and Parent/Family Support.
