Truancy Assessment and Resource Center
The Truancy Assessment and Resource Center (TARC), located at 44 Gough Street, is a one-stop location for truant students to receive the support needed to reconnect with school.
TARC will provide youth and families information and supports needed to get back into school and will be staffed by Urban Services YMCA, San Francisco Unified School District and other community based organizations. TARC is a collaboration between Urban Services YMCA, Department of Children Youth and Their Families, San Francisco Unified School District, Huckleberry Youth Programs, San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, Juvenile Probation Department, and San Francisco Police Department.
