Thurgood Marshall’s ExCEL After School Program (ASP) in collaboration with Urban Services YMCA is located within Thurgood Marshall High School’s campus in the Bayview District. Thurgood Marshall’s ASP, in alignment with the school’s vision and policies and procedures, provides support and accessibility for students, families, and the community.
Thurgood Marshall’s ASP aims to provide students and families with access to quality after school programming and care that is aligned with the 21st Century/Assets Grant requirements and the YMCA’s mission of providing services for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Through its various partnerships, Thurgood Marshall’s ASP strives to provide students and their families with access to resources including, but not limited to, academic support, college and career preparation, youth development, and family literacy.
