The Ida B. Wells High School After School Program provides a safe environment for students to do their work,learn, earn credits, & have fun.

The program is offered at no costs to the students and is a collaborate effort among ExCel After School Programs, the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) and Urban Services YMCA.  Our program is not only available after school, but before and during school hours as well. This allows staff to become acquainted to the academic needs of its participants. It is essential to our program’s success that the transition from school to after school be seamless. The After School Program is deeply invested in assisting to establish a school culture to improve attendance, academic achievement and strengthen our sense of community.
