| For young people at risk for substance abuse, violence, and gang activity, the YMCA provides a broad spectrum of programs designed for their special needs. Working in close partnership with juvenile court and the schools, the organization offers such critical services as individual and family counseling, GED classes and job readiness training, and special sports programs stressing conflict resolution and teamwork. |
