Youth Classes (6 yrs - 13 yrs)

Our youth programs teach kids of all levels the confidence and skills required to be safe, life-long swimmers. Our beginner level (Polliwog) focuses on water orientation and basic water skills required in all our classes. Our intermediate classes, (Flounder and Guppy) focus on stroke development and our advanced classes (Minnow, Fish, and Flying Fish) fine tune techniques while building endurance.

Adult Classes (14 yrs - Adult)

It’s never too late to introduce yourself to the aquatic environment. We offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced swim lessons for those ages 14 years and older. Our YMCA provides a safe, inviting atmosphere to enhance swimming skills, cardiovascular systems and knowledge of water safety.

Lap Swim
Lap swim is offered at specific times throughout the day. A lap lane is often available during Recreational Swim times.

Recreational Swim
Recreational swim time is set aside for those enjoy a relaxing swim or just to play in the water.

Family Pool Night
The first and third Fridays of each month from 6:30 - 8:00pm. Participate in family games, relay races, music and more water fun!

Water Fitness Classes
As a facility member, you can take part in our water fitness programs. Water absorbs impact, reducing stress on joints. This is ideal for members with knee, back or joint stiffness. Our three classes offer workouts for members of all fitness levels. Swimming ability is not required.

Water Walking
With big, easy to follow movements, Water Walking is an invigorating introduction for beginners interested in water exercise and an excellent workout for anyone with joint conditions.

Deep Water Aerobics
Deep water Aerobics is a fun, challenging deep-water workout. It is an ideal class for anyone with back, hip or knee problems, as there is no impact involved. Deep water also offers a wonderful opportunity to enhance your range of motion. We provide flotation belts that are worn around the waist, but all participants must be comfortable swimming in deep water.
