"My husband and I couldn't be happier with all of the teachers and the preschool in general. Our son is so happy to go to school and share stories with his friends. He loves all of his teachers and overall, is a really happy kid. The staff has been nothing but kind and we are so glad to be part of the Y community." - Preschool Parent

"We highly recommend the Stonestown Family YMCA preschool. Our second child is going through the program and is absolutely thriving. He learns new academic, social and physical skills every day, all while having a lot of fun! The staff is top-notch, high energy and very caring. We completely trust them with our child and know that he will be well prepared for Kindergarten." - Preschool Parent

Program Overview
The Stonestown Family YMCA Preschool empowers young children to flourish day in and day out. We offer a nurturing, well-supervised environment for your little ones. Our preschool is open year-round and focuses on each child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.

The Stonestown FamilyYMCA operates “ExCEL” After School Enrichment Programs in partnership with our neighborhood public schools.

The After School Enrichment Programs (ASEP) are collaboratives funded by the Stonestown Family YMCA, SFUSD After School For All, and the Mayor’s Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families. The ASEP’s are completely free of charge and provide a safe well-structured space for more than 1,000 children and youth.

The ASEP’s are reflective of each community’s needs but are designed around three primary components: academic assistance, recreation, and enrichment. ASEP students participate in a wide range of activities.

These programs are supported by our Annual Giving Campaign.
