Guest/Visitor Policy
Guests may visit the YMCA of San Francisco once free of charge. Guests of members will be invited to take a tour of the facility and have the opportunity to join. Guests who are visiting for an extended period will be offered short-term membership packages. Please allow 5 minutes to get your guest properly checked in. A valid picture ID is required. Guests under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian check them in.
Day Passes
A guest/visitor who has used the facility before and is not interested in joining the YMCA as a member may purchase a day pass for $15 to access the facility. A valid picture ID is required. Guests/visitors under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian check them in.
Member and Guest Check-In
Members need a valid membership card and guests must provide a photo ID in order to gain entry to the YMCA. Replacement cards may be purchased for $5.00.
Membership cards used by individuals other than the designated member may result in termination of the membership. Members are required to accompany their guests upon check-in at the Membership Services Desk for entry.
Using Other YMCAs
Stonestown Family YMCA facility members may use other San Francisco Association YMCAs for a small drop-in fee. Program members may access programs at other branches. This includes the following YMCA branches: Buchanan YMCA, Bayview YMCA, Shih Yu-Lang Central YMCA, Embarcadero YMCA, Marin YMCA, Peninsula Family YMCA, Presidio YMCA, Richmond District YMCA and Chinatown YMCA.
A.W.A.Y. (Always Welcome at YMCA)
Our traveling members may use any of over 2,500 YMCAs in the world either free of charge, or at a minimal daily rate. Please check with the branch you wish to visit.
