Richmond District

Each year, the Richmond District YMCA runs one middle school and one high school ski and snowboarding trips to the Tahoe area. Many of the Ski Trip participants are beginners, and find the YMCA trips to be a great way to have fun, make friends, and learn a new exciting hobby during the winter months. For the trips, we rent out a large cabin as home base. During the day we visit local ski lodges and take to the slopes. During the evenings, we gather around a warm fire for games, movies, laughs, and even karaoke! All of the expenses for the trip are covered in the program fee, including travel, food, lodging, lift tickets, and equipment rental. Fundraising to reduce program fees are available in december.
