REGISTER TODAY!!

YMCA day camps offer everything you can think of when you think of 'CAMP,' in the heart of the city.  During the summer, we focus on hands-on experiences, arts, media, and challenges that make learning fun during the summer. Field trips, arts & crafts, camp songs, and organized games allow day-campers to really enjoy a unique experience.

We provide camps during winter, spring and summer as well as selected school holidays throughout the year. All camps are for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. In the summer, we also have camp opportunities for middle school and a Counselor in Training program for 9th & 10th graders.

All of our Day Camps are held at Argonne Playground on 463 18th Ave.

During the school year, we focus on service learning experiences that give back to the community or other fun activities.

For more information, please contact Bill Pittman, Camp Coordinator, at wpittman@ymcasf.org

Organized Games & Sports

Everything from kickball to capture the flag, there is something for everyone and the campers are sure to have a great time as the YMCA staff join in and supervise and often plan based on input from the campers.

Arts & Crafts

We have a wide variety of Arts & Crafts activities throughout the summer. We do everything from lanyards to clay sclpture to painting so there is art for every sort of artist.  Roll up your sleeves and let’s get messy!

Field Trips

Local attractions, museums, and local playgrounds are just a few of the fun places we visit throughout the summer.  Although all activities are planned in advance, they are all subject to change.  Campers do not need any money for the trips, and we provide transportation, when needed, on the YMCA bus.

Healthy, Nutritious Snacks
