Camp Jones Gulch | Outdoor Education Program | Urban School Of Env Ed |

Our Outdoor Education Program (OEP) hosts residential stays at our beautiful site in the Marin Headlands for hands-on learning. Students reside in our comfortable heated dormitories and eat three meals per day. The rest of their time is spent outdoors, where students can touch a sea star or anemone in nearby tidepools; see a red tail hawk on its migratory flight; or smell the varied aromas of native wildflowers in bloom.

We can arrange walking tours of our local tidepools and beaches, the historic Point Bonita Lighthouse, the Marine Mammal Center, a freshwater lagoon, nearby Nike Missile sites, and remnants of several other coastal defense systems. Night programs include academic programs such as marine mammals, marine biology/oceanography or a town hall event as well as hiking and campfires.
