During session 2, Dec. 28-30, campers will get a chance to go rock climbing at Planet Granite, go bowling at Yerba Buena Bowl, and be an archaeologist at the Presidio Archaeology Lab.

Requirements
Discipline Policy
We expect all of our participants to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Do not harm anyone physically or emotionally.
- Show respect and listen to your counselors at all times.
- Be responsible for your belongings and yourself.
Any time a behavior modification is needed, we will progress along the following path. This order may be modified depending on the severity of the incident.
- 1st Incident: Camper will be reminded of group agreements and camp rules.
- 2nd Incident: Camper will be removed from the activity to talk to the counselor about ways to improve his/her behavior.
- 3rd Incident: Camper, parents/guardians, and camp director will meet to go over and sign a behavior contract
- Note: The contract will explain what the next steps will be and may culminate in a camper being removed from the program if a safety issue is posed.
Minimum Age Requirement
Youth must be at least five years old and entering kindergarten to participate in camp.
Swim Testing Requirement
Campers will complete a brief shallow water competency check each time they swim to ensure water safety. Campers who do not pass the check will simply need to wear a personal flotation device (which we supply). Camps that take place in water environments require a more in-depth swim test and campers cannot participate in those programs if they do not pass the test. Please contact Kris Struble to schedule swim tests.
What to Bring
What to Bring/Wear
Everyday, campers should bring a lunch, morning snack, a backpack, sunscreen and a swim suit (afternoon snack is provided). They should always be equipped with layers of warm clothing and athletic shoes. Please label all of your child’s belongings. Left items will be donated at the end of summer.
Do Not Bring
Please do not send your child to camp with money or electronics. Campers will not need these things and they can be distracting. The Y is not responsible if these items are lost or stolen.
Medications
Please note any special medication (prescription or non) that your child needs on his/her Registration Form. Medication must be stored in your child’s backpack in its original container and with complete written instructions.
