Competitive Women's Adult Basketball League

For those looking for a departure from the high-stress, win-oriented club teams at other locations, the Y is offering a fun, energetic, community-based basketball league for women. Whether you’re a member or not, this popular league will be offering year-round play for those interested in shooting hoops with their friends in a semi-competitive atmosphere. There are multiple seasons per year that consist of a seven game schedule, plus play-offs and championships. We accept both individual and team sign-ups, and participants will form and coach their own teams. Whether you are serious about your hoop game or you just enjoy passing the ball with you friends, this fun and competitive league will give you a chance to keep both your mind and your body sharp, while also providing you with a great way to meet new people.

A minimum of seven players are required to qualify as a team on registration night. Teams must provide their own jerseys.

Afterwork Adult Tennis Program

Adult tennis is taught in a group. Coaches emphasize the importance of exercise and fun by utilizing exciting drills and games from the start. Beginning Tennis focuses on the proper grips, back-swing, contact point and follow through for ground-strokes and volleys. Beg-Int Tennis continues to emphasize fundamentals while adding instruction on the serve. Intermediate Tennis introduces faster paced drills and games.

YMCA/USTA Nor-Cal Fall Combo Tennis League

Combo leauge features men's doubles and women's doubles, age 18 and up, with team levels structures do encourage partners of different levels to play together. The format is three individual doubles matches per team match. Teams may enter at any of these levels: 5.5, 6.5, 7.5, 8.5, 9.5 &10.5

Cardio Tennis

Cardio Tennis is the best way to combine heart pounding fitness and the game of tennis into a complete all around workout. Whether you’re a beginner, or returning to the game after a long hiatus, this is the most fun you will have on a tennis court. We integrate the same games from our junior tennis camps and clinics into our Cardio-Tennis program.

Ball Machine Club

Improve your tennis technique, endurance and enjoyment by joining our Tennis Ball Machine Club! A ball machine provides any level player the opportunity to practice any stroke (except serves) including forehand, backhand, volleys and overhead smash.

Private Tennis Lessons | All Levels | Adults 18 & Up | 1 hour

Private lessons are available for kids ages 3-17 & adults 18 and up. Our Pros our certified USPTA instructors with many years of playing and coaching experience. For more information please contact the Tennis Coordinator, Richard Carson at 415-447-9602.

Semi-Private lessons are also available for two people, group of 3, etc.
