Presidio Community YMCA by the numbers:
8,400+ children from across the city will be served through our outreach and afterschool programs this year alone.
850 youth participated in our youth basketball leagues in the winter of 2011.
250 students visited the Presidio in the spring of 2011 through our 4th Grade Field Trip program.
1 We are the only nonprofit community center in the Presidio where no one is turned away due to inability to pay for programs and services.
ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN
Over the next few months, we will raise $235,000
to provide financial assistance to those in need to remain members at our Y and our local youth development programs.
At the Y, no child, family or adult is turned away due to an inability to pay. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected and secure.
