2008-2009 Holiday Camps December 22 through January 19, 2009
So, we won’t be building snowmen, but we’ll still be having a blast this Winter at the Presidio Community YMCA! Join us for the following sessions where Kindergarten through Eighth Graders will play group games, sing songs, complete arts & crafts projects and go on fun trips.
Winter Camp Session #2 December 29, 30 & 31 $144 Facility Members ~ $168 Program Members
Join us for three days of fun! Come learn about animals as the Academy of Sciences visits the YMCA and teaches “Rockin’ Reptiles, Incredible Insects & the Shark Shake Down” [Grades K-5]. Enter a time machine as you take a guided hike on the Anza Trail in Presidio National Park with Juan Bautista de Anza [Grades 4-8]. Get as many strikes as you can at Presidio Bowl. Jump for joy in our Bounce House and swim next door at Letterman Pool [Grades 2-8].
January 2nd Camp $50 Facility Members ~ $60 Program Members
Don’t miss this day of fun! Be a scientist as you visit the Randall Museum. Bring a calendar from last year and learn how to make gift bags from it.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Camp January 19, 2009 $50 Facility Members ~ $60 Program Members
Come explore all that the San Francisco Zoo has to offer. Practice your sand castle building at the beach!
February Camp February 16-20 $240 Facility Members ~ $280 Program Members We will provide one session of February Camp at our Letterman Gym during the private school break. The week will consist of hiking in the Presidio National Park, fun field trips, complete arts and crafts and play group games and sports. Drop off is between 7:30 - 9 AM and pick up is between 4:30 - 6 PM at Letterman Gym. Register either online or in person at the Main Post Front Desk. Registration closes two weeks prior the start of the camp. A non-refundable/ non-transferable deposit of $50 is required for the camp session. Full payment is due three weeks prior to the start of each session [except for one day camps where payment is due in full].
